Julann completed her law degree with Honours at Bond University in 2005 and has practised solely in the area of Family Law since 2011. Previously she served as a Police Officer in the Queensland Police and has extensive experience in dealing with both sides of Domestic Violence matters. Julann was educated at Brisbane State High School and has previously worked in other service-related industries. Her strength lies in her empathetic nature and her ability to combine her connection with clients with her solid legal background.
Julann is motivated to assist clients to reach resolutions, particularly in property settlement and parenting matters but she is not afraid to litigate when it is required and will support and advocate strongly for her clients through this process. She has appeared in many and varied matters, including child relocation and Hague Convention cases, complex property trials involving high net worth individuals and spousal maintenance claims.
Julann is approachable and enjoys working with clients to determine what their desired individual outcome is and to think outside the box to generate alternative solutions.
Outside of work, she juggles her large family of 5 children and enjoys cooking and spending time at the beach.
